Privacy policy
This policy covers Goodside Print's website and the orders placed on it.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, shipping addresses and phone number; the details, logos and photos you put in your designs; and messages you send us.
- Your orders: what you bought, prices, and your approved designs.
- Payment: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Cookies: a cookie keeps your bag, projects and sign-in on this browser. If you arrive from one of our ads, a cookie records which ad, so we know which ads work.
- How you use the shop: the pages you visit, the site or ad that sent you, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer), and how far you got (designing, your bag, checkout). We record this ourselves, tied to an anonymous number in your shop cookie, not to your name. We don't keep your IP address. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we only count the visit.
- Google's cookies, only if you allow them: with your permission (the cookie banner), our pages load Google's tag, which sets Google cookies to measure our ads. You can change your answer any time in cookie settings.
How we use it
To make, ship and support your orders; to keep your account and projects; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to measure our advertising.
When you buy after clicking one of our Google ads, we tell Google Analytics and Google Ads that a purchase happened: the order number, its value, and an identifier for the ad click. For Google Ads we include your email address in a scrambled (hashed) form that Google can match but can't read, so we know which ads lead to orders. We don't do this if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Who we share it with
Only with the companies that help us run the shop: our printer, our shipping carriers, our payment provider and our hosting and email services, each for that job. We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
How you use the shop (pages, sources, bags and checkout steps) is kept for 13 months. After that we keep only daily totals that can't be traced to anyone.
Your choices
You can update your details in your account. To get a copy of your information or have it deleted, email help@goodsideprint.com.
Children
This shop is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with its date.
